I thought about it, I've got some events written down, but I still don't know how to make strengh loss of one division strenghten second (zombie) div (you know, zombism spreads through bites ;)). And how to simulate zombism epidemy starting (high partisan%?). And how to make zombie divisions?
 
Just make the zombie divisions have high soft attack and low toughness. Same thing for the survivor's. They'll both sustain heavy casualties that way as long as neither has brigades.
 
So, I've grouped together my ideas, which ones does the comunity thinks are bad?

0.First huge outbrake begins in China.

1.Zombies (Z) Start as an offmap faction (as partisans, are they even playable?), and they gain divisions, created in provinces giving mp (lots of people there), through events.

2.Chinese and other nations get events adding partisan activity around their provinces, which are simulating the fact of infected traveling around. It spreads and within weaks is all around the globe (all countries get these events). If soldiers recapture the provinces, they bring down partisan activity to around 20%.

3.IDK how, but if it is possible, then whenever any country looses a division fighting Zs, Z's get one half strenghed division.

4.Nukes and modern times. Brigades = Kevlar suits, Dog patrols, Armored cars, heavy weapons, flamers

5.And random events for zombies that reduce their divisions strenght (and diffrent events deleteing them). It would simulate the survivors killing zombies.

As for now I have all outbreak events ready. Started work on models. Need modern techtree bad.

Any thoughts about this kind of mod? Is there a demand of such mod being made and released to public?
And of course... it will take me a lot of time to do it all alone :(, so I'd be very happy if somebody could help me someway. Even writing one event is great help :)

If you can get this started, I will help in any way I can, storyline, and such. I lack modding skill, but I would try to help! I tried to make such a mod, but I lack in skills.
Maybe you could use the MDS as a base, if you are kinda copying World War Z (Awesome book anyway). If we use WWZ as a base, lets modify it alittle bit. But anyway, I want this to happen!
PS: Maybe we can wait till HOI3, for easier modding, and a longer shelf life for the mod?

Yeah. This might be a very good idea. We could get some more time for planning event trees, governments and everything. I think I will hold my works on it. But on the other hand, mds (if they would share their mod, of course with full credit) already has everything we need, and all that's left is adding zombies and events.

Oh, and for hoi3 we would need no time limit patch and zombie 3d model.

Tough decision...

Have you ever seen Mutant Chronicles? If so, I guess it will help you a lot.

Read both books. Epic stuff there. Anyway, since HOI3 is based on EU3's engine, a NTL patch should, in theory, be very simple to make. A zombie model isn't needed at first, and it could come later.
Besides, HOI3 comes out in two months. Not that much of a wait, we could just bide time and write up some more story. Work it out to discern it from WWZ.
 
I once had the Idee to Make a WWZ Mod, but I never done it.

My Idee was that the Zombies schould get Divisions by Manpower, and at the Same Time sinking some of the Onmap manpower. Then I had the IDee that pPlanes should be able to sink the Onmap Manpower, to sink the "Production" of the Zombies. The Zombie itself should have 0% Production and nearly no movement in snow, while having high power agains soft things and nearly no against hard. An other Problem was that there ist the division maximum.

Then there should be some Random Events causing ther Zombies to Spawn, First in China then in Brasil, ans so on.
