How to register HOI2-DD, german PC CD Version

Hi all,
a while ago i bought HOI2-DD, german PC CD Version via amazon. When I joined this forum (yesterday) and tried to register the game, i get asked for a registering key... well, there isn't any! You have to keep the cd in the drive for gaming. So how can i register now without said license key? (Yes i know that's a n00b question, thank you)

There is no registration key for HOI2 DD.

As for requiring the CD in the drive to play the game that must be some specific copy protection added to the version of the game you bought.

You do not need to register anything in order to have full access to the HOI2 portions of the Paradox forums.

I have the same problem, I own Victoria, hearts of iron and Europa Universalis, and wanted the nice icons some people have in the forums below the avatar, so I searched for the cd key in my boxes for entering them, but there is no one !

So I guess how can I register the game and get the funny icons ? or it is not possible ?

Which version of Europa Universalis do you have ? Only EUIII has a cd-key

Victoria and Hearts of Iron 1 and 2 don't have CD-key's.

I have one box with the three Europa universalis, another box with Victoria an empire under the sun and revolutions, and other box with hearts of iron anthology, none of them have a cdkey

So I cannot register them ?

They should be on the back of the manual. If not, then you need to contact the distributor of these games in Spain (I assume you have the Spanish versions). They should provide you with the CD-key's. At least for EUIII and the Anthology.

In fact the games (all of them) came without any manuals, I dont have the spanish versions I think I have the uk version

Where did you buy them, then ?

The manuals are probably on the CD's as pdf.-files, but those won't have the cd-key's.

I bought them at gameseek.co.uk , they sent me the three physical plastic boxes with the original cd games but no manuals into the boxes, actually in the cd´s as pdf there are the manuals you are right, but there are no cdkeys in the "pdf manuals" thought

Maybe now paradox doesnt give cdkeys no more ?

They do, but Gameseek.co.uk didn't pass them on to you.

You should contact them and ask them about the CD-keys.

If that doesn't bring anything you could contact Paradox at support@paradoxplaza.com, explain your problem en give them proof of your purchase. Maybe they can then help you further.

I believe the only HoI versions with registration keys are the Anthology hardcopy (with printed map and bonus medal) and the Armageddon download. Other compilations made by other companies don't seem to give you keys.
