There was a flash of light and you found 3 of your number dead,

The first had been a simple man caring for others,

The second was a very important man who trained himself hard,

The third was an obviously evil figure who had done some good deeds.

A bolt of lightning strikes down Steed the Guardian Angel, Okyriosy the second in command and seers apprentice and finally, Sedracus the blessed wolf.

Rest of update coming up soon.

:(

I'm guessing that Teep is killing off the people who could not be subbed out, but there is zero sense in that if the game is going to end tonight. Those people basically made it all the way through the end, except this last day will have taken us over 70 hours to finish...

edit: I believe most people switched their votes to johho over the past day.

I would have preferred it if their absense was treated as a missed vote. That way they would have gotten their win too :(

Especially since it's just impossible for the baddies to win at this point with the lovers and protectors blocking them and because Steed and Okyriosy lived through to the end. (for obvious reasons I don't care if Sedracus is killed of :D)

I might see a case with Okyriosy winning, but the other two had not been playing for a few days.

Aaand.....

It seems like beamed and Johho have 6 votes each.

Beamed the Sorceror of the demon pack is dead and Johho888 the brutal wolfish master of disguise of the demon pack is dead

The goodies win!!!!!!

The loser is Paendrag the Sorceror, everyone else(and maybe Okyriosy) has won!

I have some things to answer for and I guess I should do it now:

1. The death of the priest: He was protected by steed and the lover, but as I didn't know the Lover rule about not being able to kill/scan/other and the fact that VlN not Steed sent me the protection order (I was unaware of his permanent absence at that point) meant that I killed the Priest and tried to cover up after I found out what I had done but EURO told me I had to kill him.

2. The death of Sedracus winning the Goodie's game: He was going to be brutalised by Johho anyway and so his death was a foregone conclusion (I have a PM and what Johho said in the thread to back me up).

Victory!!

I hope I didn't suck too much :D

I didn't get to use my witness-skillz :( (I decided to wait until night 10 or after, which never really came)

Yeah... same :p

Little I knew baddies' fate had already been decided. No need for a shining-of-holiness witness to save the day :(

Now that this game is over, I ask again:
I am the next GM in the list (AFAIK), but I absolutely can't start the game before the 20th, and with a good chance just on the 23rd. So is it OK for you people to have such an awfully long signup period, or you would rather push me down the list once more?

Start naaaaaaoooooooooooooo :eek:o

* shoves Kriszo aside*

I ... *looks at his schedule*

:eek:o *pulls Kriszo back into place and brushes the proverbial spec of dust from Kriszo's shoulder*

Sorry about that, I like to GM once more, but I have a week worth of partying ahead of me, which would result in inconsistent drunk updates. We could try a random deadline that closes as soon as I get home from the party. It might fit with a gambling themed game, but somehow I doubt it will work well :p

I'm all for a random deadline game.
When writing that post I got some ideas about such a game. I will have to work it out a bit more to see if it's feasable. Having a minimum and maximum day length with the deadline somewhere in between. Maybe adding modifiers to the votes where players have to guess the deadline and will be rewarded on being right.

Like Vote X and expected deadline between 23.00 CEST and 23.30 CEST. The closer someone is to the expected deadline the bigger the modifier to his vote. :D

And you plan to calculate that vote modifier when getting home drunk after a party? I forsee now problems whatsoever with that... ;)
