Long story short,
Ive had this issue happening quite often making trading completely broken and unusable. In my current save I cant play at all without diplomacy since Im stuck with one solar system between 2 empires and i cant get passed them without asking for at least civilian access through their territory.
Whenever I go to the trading screen, select the things i want and things i will give in return and then press accept nothing happens. The window closes but the trade proposal never gets sent.
I waited a year and still nothing. No matter what I ask, no matter who i ask, trading just wont work. I cant ask for alliances, i cant ask for resources, nothing happens when i do.
This also happened a but in my mp game with my friend. At first everything worked fine, trading was working, all was good.
At some point i decided to declare war on an AI empire and i had to try sending the war declaration 4 times before it finally worked.
Whats going on? This is a rather serious issue!
