I have noticed that the game FPS drops like a rock when zooming into the state view. If zoomed out into the paper map view, everything works fine...but the moment i zoom into the state view where i can see the terrain, FPS drops like a rock.
Paper map view when paused : 50-60 FPS. State view when paused : below 5 FPS.
I have all graphics settings turned down to the lowest.
Specs :
cpu : i7-7700hq
gpu : gtx 1060
Yes, i have the latest nvidia drivers (october release).
Again, this is specific to zooming into the state view.
Edit : I noticed that in task manager, my cpu usage for vic 3 when paused and in the paper map view is 55-60%. When i zoom into the state view, the CPU usage jumps to 95%+. GPU usage remains steady at about 20% so this doesnt appear to be a graphics bottle neck, for some reason the state view uses an excessive amount of CPU.
