Playing as Germany in the 1936 Road To War, events such as the Rhineland, support for Nationalist Spain and Ribbentrop-Pact trigger, however the war for Spain was not decided by August 1939 and therefore no Condor Legion event was possible, Memel claims never fired, Danzig or war never fired.
Munich, Ribbentrop and Anschluss and CZ joins the Axis were the events of 1939 that worked iirc, no Memel and then no reason to get into the war properly without Danzig or War.

I loaded a August 5th savegame with 1.05 open beta and let it run through August but no Danzig Or War, I loaded a February save and let it run to April, but no Memel.
So regardless of 1.04 or 1.05 open beta they don't seem to fire. Is this normal?

They seem to exist in db/events/germany.txt alright and both the scenario and savegamee "include" that file under the include reference.

No idea what's wrong, but having to F12 trigger them just seems wrong(although that works, interestingly enough).

Probably should have made it more clear that this is a 1.04 KXOS game that had this issue.

I upgraded to the 1.05 beta to find out if that might fix it. It did not.

However! I started the scenario anew under the beta(i.e. a fresh new 1936 game, not loading a save), and now the events seem to fire(running at max speed, just to check the events). I checked up to Memel, and that just made me realize that half the stuff was missing in the other game's run(Czech partitioning / proper Munich treaty chain, Spain, Memel, Danzig).

Btw, 1.05s Speed increase is actually nice and noticeable :)

I have no idea what happened in the other scenario to corrupt the event chain so.

This new started campaign actually had nationalist Spain win in mid-1938, over 14 months earlier than in the broken game where they were still at war. It's like something just got stuck and never got unstuck. Yet oddly enough, Ribbentrop still showed up in the broken game.
VERY weird.
