1.04 problem

i installed 1.04 straight from vanilla. i played it on another comptuer and loads of these came up so i held doen ENT and everything seemed to work fine.
now i did exactly the same thing, and transfered a save file but when i get to the third box the game crashes. any ideas?>

you have a problem with your initial installation apparently.

Savegames will still have the new units in them (the AI will still try to build them because their AIs will have them in their file to try and build them) so in a savegame when they might try to be activated it will crash. That savegame is not going to work.

You need to do a complete reinstall.

Remove Victoria from your HD, check to be sure the folder is completely removed (if you used any mods before, sometime elements of the mod will be left even if you delete the game using auto-delete, and that can screw up the new installations)

Reinstall Victoria 1.0, patch to 1.4 and start anew.
