As Germany I spotted following bugs =

- Italy dowing USSR (Italy in Axis) after USSR was already defeated and had choosen the bitter peace vent. Italy has no interest in the USSR as not one of its provinces is bordering th USSR. After reloading, they did it again,

- Nat. China has more then 160 IC around 1948. It seems they have a province with more then 50 IC, another with more then 30 IC close to eachother. Sorry, those IC's are not realistic, they are higher then the most industrialised region on the WW2 era. Those provinces are in the inland mountain areas of south central China,

The China issue might be caused by either the events moving factories inland or just poor ai spread of factory builds. Though to get to 50 IC in province just building takes some effort and seems like there is other forces at work. Are they still at war? If not, when did they become at peace and for what reason?

The Chinese have been at war with Japan for a very long time (historical) - I monitored their IC base a few times during the war, the huge IC wasn't there in the beginning and I also checked a few times in the years afterward with nothing weird to emerge.

I think it's only in the last 2 years that the IC exploded.

The British Isles are occupied a long time by me (Germany).

Such a high IC must come from events ! No nation can build 50 IC without external help from events. The lend lease events, IC transfer events for Nat. China, internal Chinese events or US help might be bugged.

This is hurting the game, now the Chinese have more IC then Japan and are spawning infantry like crazy.

The high IC comes ofc from events, i.e. lend-lease events. These aren't bugged but can be triggered repeatedly. But it seems to be worth to reevaluate these in the light of the recent strengthening of China. The triggering events should get a few more triggers, especially economic and vp triggers, so that these events don't shoot any longer once China is winning the war.

Fürstbischof'd. :D

But the events do need to stop once China turns the tables on Japan. Perhaps once they hold 60 - 75 % of their VP provinces and event could fire halting the shipments.

+1

That's a good idea. As long as they're below 60 - 75 % of their VPs they should get lend-lease shipments.

Would you like to write a bug-report and also add your proposal how this issue can be fixed? :)

To start with they should only receive lend-lease supplies if they have a coastal province and there needs to be something in place so if they keep going under and over 60% VP the event doesn't keep starting and stopping

Ok, make a check for that too. Curse my lack of history.

Take it easy. ;) This are the events (in hoi2.txt):

Hm,

I still consider this to be very unbalanced. It can not be the intention to create a region in the Chinese mountains with more industry then the London and Berlin area combined !

If you consider this to be "US industrial capacity dedicated to China" then it's not good either, as Germany I walk trough the back door (Burma) and take 3 provinces with about 100 IC ! Nice present from the USA that is, for Adolf Hitler.

Can't you install off map IC for a given country ? In that case the event should have following triggers =

- coastal province needed,
- help is really needd (like your proposals here above),
- limit on the amount of extra off map IC - or make the event rarer if the total IC increases (to virtualy zero if they get high on IC),

A general note regarding the Lend Lease events:
A better situation would be to use a larger initial shipment, creating about 10-20 IC (depending on who receives Lend Lease). Use a second event to send only supply and ressources to the receiving nation. This second event could be made to trigger more often (higher chance of firing) but to transfer less goods. Thus a USA player is able to recover from the loss of supplies transferred to the other nations and is not in danger of going negative with supplies.

Something really needed is a check if the giving player actually has the ressources available !

A change to all the lease-lend events just missed getting into 1.05 - it will be in 1.06. This takes out the IC additions from vanilla AoD - Nat.Chi. has got tough enough not to need them, now.

A problem with a British event. the event that declares war on Syria when Iraq goes axis gives you 10% dissent which can be crippling at that time of the war if you are fighting Italy. is this working as intended or a bug with the way the war declaration works?
