[1.05] Dead vassals keeping countries

I was just selecting one of my courtiers to give him one of my provinces when he suddelny died. Well... He was still in the list but grayed out (dead). Who could resist? I gave him the land and he got it. He even managed it for some hundred years. Fine guy. Very loyal.

There should be check if the guy I selected is still alive.

I don't know if it is possible but perhaps you even could give land to someone who just left your court if you keep the dialogue open.

It's not so common to have the interface open at the moment of his death. Too big of a change to fix in patches, especially as it's possible for the player to choose not to make it happen.

Well I even had dead kings and those are no vassals of me or anything. A dead king of germany is quite... well.. dangerous since you can't assassinate him.

I think I fixed a similar problem once with the F12 die cheat

Which doesn't work in Multiplayer (never playing Singleplayer).

The only undead characters that pop up in single player game are already dead, church educated people.

I haven't seen an undead king in the latetst patches, so maybe it is an MP problem.
