1.05 Patch and DS Beta?

Sorry but I have just bought Crusader kings and the expansion. And would like to have the latest patch. Should I download both? Or only one of them. In that chase which one?

After you have installed DV, you only need to install the latest beta from october 2008

Now that I have downloaded the patch and open it with winRar does it then magicaly just patch the game or do I have to do some thing?

Drop the files into the CK main folder and overwrite.

C:\Program Files\Paradox Entertainment\Crusader Kings


Put the .rar file into this folder, right+click on it and select the option 'extract here'. And then say 'yes' if you are asked to overwrite certain files.
