Just found a very odd bug with 1.08. I'm playing an improved Grand Campaign (version 1.07) as Russia. One of my allies, Hungary, was suddenly annexed by Poland in 1562. However, Hungary was not a vassal of Poland, was not in a military alliance with Poland (they were allied to me), and did not lose a war to Poland--Poland never dared to attack the Russia/Denmark/Hungary/Bohemia colossus that dominated eastern Europe.

Bizarre bug.

Stupid question, but BiB, what does Flemis shield look like?

Hjarg

After BiB replied, I then recognized it. The shield he has is an approximation of one. I live outside Washington DC and we have a truly great Belgian restaurant in a little town called Occoquan, the Bistro Belgique Gourmand, run by by real Belgians (actually, the wife (and Chef)is Flemish and her husband met her on a NATO posting. Truly great food and outstanding Belgian beer which I am partial too. BiB, you get to drink Blanche de Brugges all the time, it looks like! Anyway, they have a monstre flag outside the restaurant with the Belgian (Flemish) lion on it. Looks pretty cool

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Brugse Witjes (u got the name in French):D

Well, that's the part where they speak French. Most Flemish know French too though. But that place u frequent sounds like mucho French influenced ;) Quite possible she is from bilingual Brussels ? Or did they just go for a French sound to it as it sounds more exquisite ? ;)

Considering most Americans probably think that Flemish folks come from a place called Flemland, I think the Francophone label is just for US marketing purposes. You may be right about Brussels. I'll have to ask Danielle next time I am there.

I was actually asked once when I was in the USA why I didn't speak Belgianese :D Americans, eh ;)

Figured as much that it'd be for marketing reasons, French cuisine has some name at least (not that it is better ;))
