When only using CAS in the airforce the losses of bomber planes do not increase. The number of lost fighter planes(Jagtflugzeuge) does increase. Is this because CAS uses small planes?

I think the difference between these two types is that bombers usually have two or more engines and are rather big, whereas all other aircraft are comparably small. The difference does not depend on the bombing capability of aerial units.
