1.08 Combat event specialist

There are chances that during a combat event the leading general gains a trait increasing the chances such events may occur in the future. I just had the case that my soviet forces were attacking german troops, they use the event tactical withdraw and then my general Kork gains the trait deep defence specialist. Is that WAD?

Well, the germans perform a defensive action and the attacking soviets gain a defensive trait. Seem a bit strange.
