1.08 Leader Numbers--Is this a bug?

Having a great time as Russia in 1.08, except for one thing. The numbers for my leaders drop to zero, for no apparent reason. The first number (maneuver) stays where it should be, but the second and third (shock and fire) drop to zero.

This is something I never saw in 1.07. Anyone else see this? Is there a reason for it or a way around it?

It's a real heart-breaker to put conquest on hold until a leader like Yermak arrives. But instead of being a 5-6-6 like he's supposed to be, he's a mere 5-0-0.

I believe Conquistador leader values are reduced to 0 against non-natives - those stats you see are against natives only. I think this is what you're seeing.

AFAIK, the conquistador stats for fire and shock are set to 0 whenever the guy is in Europe.

Seriously though, south of Turkey & East of Astrakhan is outside Europe (the other borders should be obvious =)

Thanks for the quick response everyone. Looks like I panicked needlessly. Funny that I never noticed those numbers changing before.

While moving some conquistadors around, it looks as though 'Europe' is considered to be all territories known at the start of the GC, while territories explored in the meantime are 'Full strength Conquistador' territory. This difference doesn't mean much when you are colonizing overseas, but makes a tremendous difference when you are Russia and these territories are contiguous.
