1.08 Random Crashes

I thought I'd add my voice to the others. I am experiencing random crashes, usually when the game does something on its own while I am trying to do something. The game crashes and goes back to the desktop. I have been saving every hour or so, but this gets frustrating....
This has been occuring on different countries in the Grand Campaign senario. I have a 466 Celeron with 64 meg, and a 10 Gig HD. All other programs are turned off while playing.
Other than that I think the game is great...!

random crashes

I have the same crash problem, but when I return to the last save (yearly) the problem does not happen. System Athlon 800, 128 meg, 30 GB hard drive, ati video. Most bothersome.

I've just started seeing this as well. Amd KIII-450 Windows Me
