1.2 did not stop the crashes

Well,

I was hoping 1.2 was "the fix" but I guess not. I played fine after the patch for about 5 years then it started to crash again, and again. I have done everything it states to do, in the sticky thread, so I am at a loss.

random crashes? how exactly is it crashing? are you running vista? can you post your dxdiag.

oh, and did it crash in the same way for you on 1.1?

I am running vista 64. I can post my dxdiag, but I am a new vista user and I cant figure out how to get it (still learning vista). Could you tell me how to get it? I cant seem to locate the RUN on vista to enter the command in.

The crashes are pretty much the same.....7 out of 10 times it is on a date change.

It varies, sometimes, I can go 5 years, sometimes 3 months sometimes 1 day........ I never know when I am going to crash, but I do know I will.
