Devs, could you please clarify the exact time at which the patch will go live? Pretty important to me.
Looking at the last few posts on the forum for patch releases it will be sometime in the afternoon European time, presuming those posts coincide exactly with the releases.the exact time at which the patch will go live?
At least as important as a game update can be.Pretty important to me.
That's a Steam feature, not a PDX one. A feature I wish they dropped, so I can set up ASK BEFORE UPDATING. For some reason they don't do that. Also reminder that Paradox is going to molest your EU4 game files, you'll get the update tomorrow even if you don't want it yet.

You can't. Only if you go offline. You can disable automatic updates on Steam, can't you?
This is nothing new.

LOL, I see what you did there.Actually, it is right, or half right, at least.
Not a problem for me. I always wait for .1 subpatch. So I will wait for 1.27.1 without playing.
You're either making this up (Euro-sceptic fake news?) or the legal team at your place of work needs urgent medical attention for paranoid delusions. Because there's nothing whatsoever in GDPR that would exact this.I don't think there is any doubt that the there are many things around the 1.27 release the devs would have preferred to not do. However the GDPR legislation is forcing a whole lot of companies to take whole lot of draconian measures for fear of astronomical fines for non-compliance. At my place of work we are no longer allowed to have a calendar with peoples birthdays or pictures of team events on the wall, as the area is accessible to people other than those who work there.
