This is Mac Mojave 10.14.6.

With the 1.3.0 patch, I could select a country, press Start, then the game would crash.

Now with 1.3.2, I open the country screen, and the game crashes before I can even select a country.

It was working fine prior to 1.3, I have tried all of the suggestion posted in the forum. Most of them twice.

I'm just like you ... I tried to do everything they said but nothing works. With 10.15.2 it is impossible to overcome the nation's choice screen. If I enter with the bootcamp I am able to enter, but it goes so laggy that it is impossible to even play.
I do not understand how we could play until version 1.2 and now it is impossible. I expect a quick solution, because we don't have even a coherent explanation

Aye, me as well.

Have never been able to get past the freezing on the map.

Running Mojave 14.6, with Intel i7s and 24 gigs of RAM, as well as the recommended 2 gigs of VRAM (GeForce GTX 680MX). The game ran fine on 1.2, now it is irretrievably broken.

Oh well. Although my college degree is actually in Roman history, I have better things to do than to try and fight a broken game that wasn't particularly fun to begin with...

Do you two both have Macs with intel or low-end nVidia video cards? Then they are below the published minimum requirement of the game on Mac AMD® Radeon™ R9 M380 , and it's a matter of luck that they worked at all as the game was never tested on that hardware.

That said, I've logged a bug report on it, and it hasn't been rejected, so there's hope yet!

This one surprises me a little; that's still below spec but not by much. If you get an Apple crash report can you paste that into a text file and attach it here please?

I think I found a solution, at least for me.

I installed the game in the bootcamp, changed shadowmaps, and installed the last driver of my graphic card. I am playing all afternoon and for now it is perfect.

I am in version 1.3.0.

I hope it works for you too
