1.3b update problem

I have installed the updates in order: 1.3, 1.3a and then 1.3b.

I am currently at 1.3a since the 1.3b.rar file does not seem to install, or at least the game does not recognize it. I unziped the .rar file to the main directory for Hearts of Iron 2. Still when I start the game, it shows as version 1.3a.

What is the part of this update I might be doing wrong?

There is no change in the exe file, therefor it still says 1.3a.

To be sure that you have uipdated correctly, check date of your newest ai files.

should be from december 2005
