I'm using eep 1.4.2a and the july 23 beta. I started a 1520 scenario as the netherlands and when I try to load my game it I get a ctd on the loading scenario screen. This has happened a few times now and I have gone back to older save game files and they work for awhile until the game starts to ctd again. I checked for duplicates of 645 646 1606 and 1608 and there were none. I have the save game file if anyone wants to look at it or does anyone have any suggestions?

Were you playing with Netherlands or Gerle in 1520? Couriously, I've just started my Age of Reformation playing Gerle and after 10 years no problems appear. But I should say that my previous game 1520 with Savoy has been definitely shut down by CTDs. Something strange, which I don't know, goes on happening with this scenario...

I started my game as Gelre and about 1560 switched to the Netherlands. The first ctd's started about 40 years in with Gelre, I was able to load an older save game file and make the switch to the Netherlands but then the ctd's happened again. Again, I went back to an older save game file and it is now about 1620, my save file has become corrupted again and I am thinking eep 1.4 is the much better version.

I also just started a new 1520 scenario as the iroquios and within 8 years the save game file was unloadable. So there is obviously a game destroying bug in 1.4.2a which makes the eep all but unplayable. Since the provinces of 645, 646, 1606 and 1608 are not duplicated the problem must be different than that in 1.4.2. So this sucks...

Something awful probably went wrong with the 1520 scenario...as you aren't reporting this with the GC are you? I'll look into it, but this is an example of why the point is made that the 1520 scenario is still largely experimental at this point. :eek:o

I havn't played the 1419 scenario with the newest version of the eep so it probably is just the 1520 scenario then. I just re-installed eep 1.4. No problems there, although I miss all the new additions. I just have a very strong urge to start in 1520 :)
