Can't even get it to start. It goes through the Modtek loading, then just as it should launch, error message. This is with 0.5.1 and 0.7.0.

Hope we get a new version soon. ;)

have you deleted the modtek folder and reinjected btml?

same here havent updated.
what you can do after an update is roll it back to a previous version.
this can be doen via steam or paradox..not sure about gog

Yes, I deleted .modtek and reinjected, which is why it surprised me that it wouldn't even get past loading. It usually gets that far until the new Modtek is released.

well....most likely the issue is with btml
we will just have to wait a bit until the guys can fix it
betcha it is fixed within 24

Ok try this but make a back up first delete Assembly-CSharp under it you will see Assembly-CSharp.dll.orig delete the orig then try to reinject

Yep, that's what I did.

They're usually insanely fast, so I bet you're right.

To confirm 1.4 deff kills modtek i just tried to run it with modtek got so far then crashed to desktop

Strange. After reinjecting the dll the game loads fine for me, up to the main menu. ModTek shows the green loading bar, but doesn't actually load any mods.

The only reason I can't even enter the MechLab or Singleplayer Skirmish is that I hadn't had a chance to remove any mod variants/lances as well as playing a quick skirmish with stock lances (so the "last lance used" has only stock lances in it).

Anyway, rolled back to 1.3.2 for the time being and did all of the above. Still, I'll wait until BTML and ModTek are updated before I go back to 1.4 again. Let's hope they're not too hard to fix.

Nah, with all the language bits added, you can bet some of the pathways changed. A BTML update will do the job.

Just a heads up -- ModTek 0.6.0 has been released for BattleTech 1.4. It integrates BTML and has installation changes from previous versions so be sure to read the instructions!
