On GoG, you can turn off automatic updates altogether, and it can be set for individual games.same here havent updated.
what you can do after an update is roll it back to a previous version.

Once you've done that, you'll be notified of any new patches but they won't download until you specifically request it.
Yeah, I keep the manual installers also... I use Galaxy only because achievements please me to a really absurd degree.Or you can do like I do, not use Galaxy at all, and just download the manual installers when you are good and ready to. And since I save all mine, I still have all my installers from 1.0 forward, so I'm not forced to play with the latest update if that is my desire.
I learned long ago to let every one else do the bug testing and wait until I've seen the newer versions of a game are stable before updating. My life has been happier since.![]()
