Just a heads up -- ModTek 0.6.0 has been released for BattleTech 1.4. It integrates BTML and has installation changes from previous versions so be sure to read the instructions!

same here havent updated.
what you can do after an update is roll it back to a previous version.
this can be doen via steam or paradox..not sure about gog

On GoG, you can turn off automatic updates altogether, and it can be set for individual games.

Once you've done that, you'll be notified of any new patches but they won't download until you specifically request it.

Or you can do like I do, not use Galaxy at all, and just download the manual installers when you are good and ready to. And since I save all mine, I still have all my installers from 1.0 forward, so I'm not forced to play with the latest update if that is my desire.

I learned long ago to let every one else do the bug testing and wait until I've seen the newer versions of a game are stable before updating. My life has been happier since.

Yeah, I keep the manual installers also... I use Galaxy only because achievements please me to a really absurd degree.
