1.6 beta with steam?

How can i install 1.6beta with steam?

I want play 1944 scenario (revised) but often after april 1945 the game crash almost every month (i check the events with year = 1945, there are only hoi2 plain stuff).

Ok solved. Copy your original folder in Volume:\STEAM\steamapps\common , and after rename it as you want.
Eventually unzip the beta pack in the new folder.

For example my folder contains:
D:\STEAM\steamapps\common\arsenal of democracy (or 1.05)
D:\STEAM\steamapps\common\arsenal of democracy 1.06 (beta2)

to play beta2, simply click on aodgame.exe

So I'm also using Steam, and I follow the instructions here, and when I click on aodgame.exe, it gives me the error message "Please install the latest milestone." Any ideas what's going wrong?
