Not sure if it's technically a bug, but I bet it's not WAD either. This build scheme has, as you can see resulted in some poor performance on their part. I think they had around 50 infantry divisions hehe.

It think this thing is related to a general problem that under some conditions the AI is littering its buildung queue by many parallel builds. For example once romania was buidung 10 intercepters requiring about 100 IC with only 20 IC availble. Something similar must have happened here. German had probably required 1000 IC for planes only and therefore did not build anything else.
This does also happen often to Spain. If SPA wins the buildung queue would require about 200 ic. Under some conditions the AI want to build more than it can. What are those conditions?

yes, the ai seems to fill the que with random builds, using all availerble manpower, it seems to be related to countries with dissent but i cannot confirm this at this point, it is definetly an exe error, have tested 1.07 exe and it does not repeat the error.

likely to be something in the contruction part of the exe - likely with the slider/build management

Unit building preferences part was not touched in 1.08, just the slider allocation to CG/Production/Reinf etc...

is there no event command for SPA after SCW saying that SPA should simply delete everything in queue and start building things from scratch?

Welp, tried again today and it worked without issue.

On another note, I discovered that I didn't have the updated beta5 .exe, if it matters then I'm sorry I've wasted your time. :unsure:

I see you have all convoys on manual control! Just check the three boxes with Auto... and it will behave normally.

It was on auto when the I discovered the problem, I turned it off when looking for a solution.

New exe hotfix in the Beta5 thread. You can use it immediately. No need to start a new game.
