Heathens splintered event
I got a "Heathens splintered, white peace possible" event when playing Sicily and being at war with Byzantium. I had previously conquered Constantinople but the Emperor steadfastly refused any sort of peace with me, even a no-tribute one. In the event, I picked the second choice, "white peace with Byzantium". However, nothing happened - I was still at war with Byzantium afterwards.
