Both vassal and liege paying for armies

This has been discussed on several occasions, but I don't know if it made it in the bug thread, so I'm reporting it.

People playing vassals have reported that when their liege mobilizes their troops, they (the vassal) have to pay the maintenance costs.
But playing as the King of France, when I mobilize my vassals' troops, I also pay their maintenance costs, which I think only fair.

So it seems the maintenance is paid twice...

Although this is unreported and seems like a bug, you should have read through the buglist to know if it has made it in a bug thread.;)

Confirmation from somebody else needed anyways

I looked at this, and unless it happens only under a specific set of circumstances, could not reproduce it.

If I forice mobilize the vassal pays upkeep. If I request the vassal to mobilize they pay upkeep.

My thought is that it can seem like you are paying for upkeep since there is no ledger that tells you how much each regiment costs. You can click on the regiment itself, and get the info, but some may have not found this yet.

If you have a capitol province with a high income and a manpower over 10,000 the upkeep can be well over 100. That might seem high to some for just one regiment-leading to confusion on who is paying upkeep on what.

It's a bug all right, it just happen to me !

BTW, there is a workaround:

As a Vassal, you don't need to pay for the maintenance if you control no armies (i.e. they are all controlled and paid by your liege). In this case you can put the maintenance slider in the budget to zero.
