Even without the parameter of the ROF their anomalous rifle HE on 300 meters and the Strength of 12 people makes this infantry too good for 20 points.
As I remember three divisions have the grenadiers, and a 300-meter rifle HE applies to all divisions.
If 7 people from grenadiers give 2 HE, then why will 9 from Rifles shoot out 5?
2/7=x/9
x=2*9/7
x=2.57...
the listed HE is a "best guess" by eugen. They are not all that reliable either.
 
Here's data for you guys so you can compare better and have a better discussion.

MG42 is extremely deadly at 101-120m since it gains +2 accuracy making its accuracy 7 and -2 if the target stands still so a total accuracy of 5, which means there's around 42% to deal 1 damage to the target every second plus the rifles.

at 400 range the MG42 is much less dangerous since the accuracy is 5 -2(range) and -2(standing target) total accuracy of 1, which means there's around 2.8% to hit the target.

Infantry does not gain accuracy from consecutive shots, but gain accuracy depending on range.

Infantry standing still/entrenchment modifier
  • -2 Accuracy to enemies targeting this unit
  • 25% Suppression resistance
  • Armor type change. Receives 1x damage instead of 2x from HE and 1.7x from bullets. For example, While the infantry is moving they have a different armor type which takes 2x damage and 1.7x, when they gain the entrenchment bonus this armor type changes so they take 1x instead.
