(Using 1.01)

In provinces that start out with domed churches, e.g. Byzantion and Jerusalem, the building shadow for a first-level church can still be seen behind the larger one when you click in the province window.

I know what you mean. I have the same. If you have a domed church in a province you can still build a small or large church.

Probably didn't explain well, sorry. It's as McRaff says.

Here's a picture that shows the problem. You can just make out the small church shadow behind the domed church.

Yes, it happens to me too. It seems that in the improvements of the province it was written only the domed church, but not the intermediate steps.

Large churches not present in provinces which start with domed churches

Just like the title says. In 1.02, it seems that regular churches were added to those lands with domed churches, but large churches are still missing (going by the income tooltips for those provinces).

Just in case you needed a little more confirmation Look at the domed church in ... damn forget the province name but it is the rich one in spain.
