Weird result of peace resolution in double war.

I, as king of Denmark, went to war against the two independent counties (also mutually independent) Finnveden and Småland. I beat the brave 3 man Finnveding army and finished the siege of the province while the Småland army of some 500 hundred men were standing idly by. After the siege I took a detour over Västergötland into Småland which made the Småland army start marching on Finnveden. They started their siege there at nearly the same moment I started mine in Småland. My army was 5 times larger than theirs so naturally my siege finished a lot earlier, at which point I decided to make peace with the count of Småland first, then Finnveden. Here comes the strange part: When the count of Småland accepted my peace offer, making me count of Småland, Finnveden reverted back to the control of the count there, so I had to repeat my siege. Something tells me this is not WAD and I don't know if anyone has experienced this before... it was a pretty special case. :)

Could have been related to a possible bug I just reported, siege reseting when the titleholder dies during siege.

So the problem is that the siege should reset to my advantage at the death of the count of Småland, and not to the Finnvedings?

Well, I've experiencing sieges reset / aborted when your target/enemy dies and is replaced. An extrapolation of that could be that even the conquered status of a province could be reset if a leader dies and is replaced before peace has been signed. So in that case, the Count of Finnveden would have died.

I'm not saying this was the case, just offered it as an alternative if they can't reproduce the bug as you described it. It's perhaps more plausible that the bug I have described does exists (and can have varying consequences), as it's contained within a single realm or entity.. related in a way..

I think I've seen conquered provinces being reverted back to the owner in previous games as well, though I'm not sure and it could just be my mind playing tricks on me..

Isn't it so that when you conquer a province of 1 desmens (sp?) you have to make peace with it (i.e. annex it). If you move out of the province you have to conquer it again.

A two desmens (damn, difficult word again) province get's that flag thingy when you conquer 1, you don't get that when the indipendent land consist only of one province.

So, in my view, you razed and conquered the land of finnveden, moved all of your forces out of it (leaving the poor natives behind to rebuild). They are still independent. Another problem is of course that they where able to rebuild their hill fort in no time. I've seen this happend many times.
