I think that Yemen should stay under the control of the Zaydi Imamate until Chegitz can present some more info on the dates of their expulsion, etc. Basically it'll amount to the Mamlukes sitting there until they change tags into the Zaydis, which will be the only way to represent a reigme change in a single province nation.
On Germany:
Mainz should be independent in the Mainz province, and the Palatinate should have no claim to the province. Likewise, Hannover should have no claim to Oldenburg. Lastly Madgeburg should be independent.

I'd suggest that the Portuguese colonies be set up exactly as they are for the IGC. Ditto the Spanish.
Maybe Bahrain could be an exception then, since around 1600 the Persians took over the island. It should be a Shi'ite city, with Arab culture, and a population around 1000 (or whatever the minimum for a city is.) If it were just a TP, then the Persians, Ottomans, Baluchis, or Omanis would burn it down in a war, and there would be a very high chance of some two-bit European minor colonizing it. Furthermore, it's currently way too easy for Portgual just to turn the island into a bastion of Catholicism admist an ocean of Shia since the island has 0 aggression, and a native population of 500.
Nevermind about the Bahrain/Indian city thing, I just downloaded the EEP 1.3 and they do infact start as cities

Suggested Changes (will be updated later today):
Questions about EEP 1520 v 1.3:
- Add Mainz and Madgeburg to the selectable country list.
- Cortez should start controling the Spanish army in Tenochtitlan, or if that is not possible, in Tlaxcala.
- Relations between Crimea, Wallachia, Moldova, Ragusa, and the Ottoman Empire should be improved to at least 100 so that they do not instantly dishonor the starting alliance.
- The Duchy of Prussia needs a different country color. Right now Lithuania and Prussia both are the tanish color. I'd suggest either light gray or the Hungarian green/blue for Prussia.
- Improve relations between the Papal States and Austria/Spain.
- Improve relations between Austria and Bremen, Madgeburg, Lorraine, Strassbourg to 100. This is the same as the current relation between Austria and all other German minors.
- Improve relations between Portugal and Spain to at least 50.
- Create a marraige between Portugal and Spain to discourage a player from warring.
- Austria should lose its CB on Salzburg.
- Hannover should lose its CB on Oldenburg.
- Improve relations between Holstein and Denmark to 100.
- Narvik, Finnmark, Lappland, Kola, Kariela, and Arkhanglesk should all start as 700 population cities to prevent unhistorical seizure and colonization by both human and AI nations.
- When the Hungarian inheritance event triggers, Croatia should be sceded to Austria along with the other border provinces. Historically Zagreb was Austrian from 1526 until past the end of EU2.
- Remove the Polish CB on Hinterprommen
- Mekhran to Baluchistan.
- Make Paris, Lisbon, and London all medium forts to prevent map stealing. (A suggestion from 1520 IGC.)
- Socotra should start as a Portugese city with a minimal fort. The population should be 2000, and the province should have Arabic culture and Orthodox religion.
- Lower the relations between Mughals and Delhi to -200.

- Should Astrakhan, not Kazan, control Samara, Ufa, and Saratov?
- Should Lithuania, not Crimea, control Krementjung, Yedisan, Poltava, and Dontesk?
- Should the Duchy of Prussia and Poland start at -100 relations? If so, what is the point of having them in the same starting alliance?
- Should the Papal States and Modena (currently a Papal vassal) start in an alliance? If so, their current relations sould be increased to 100.
- Shouldn't the Reformation and ToT flags already be fired?
- Should Bremen start in an alliance with the already existing alliance between Mecklemburg and Prommern?
- Should Poland have CBs on Prussia and Memel? The Duchy of Prussia was a Polish fief, after all.
- Should Kaffa and Trabzon be Greek/Orthodox or Sunni/Turkish in 1520?
- Should we ask Capiain Crunch for his Aztec setup? We could add 1 province minors vassals of the Aztecs in order to make Spanish AI more adept at conquering Mexico.
- Should we start creating new nations in Arabia (al-Hasa, Zaydi Imamte, Dhofar, etc.)?

Musha'sha' was a virtually independent Arab Shi'ite state centered around Basra and Khuezstan (Ahwaz). They first gained real independent in the 1450s, and since the 1510s they were a loosely connected vassal state of Persia.

That link contains all of the files needed in order to add Musha'sha' to the 1520 EEP campaign. The only thing not inlcuded are monarch IDs which need to be assigned. Also the Persia country file must be editted by removing their ownership of Awhaz and Basra.

Astrakhan was never that big, and any ownership of these provinces is just purely a guess. I'd rather leave them like that.

I think this is a horrible idea. It's ugly for the user (two EEP start icons on the desktop), it makes it harder to keep 1419 and 1520 current, makes debugging significantly more tricky, and opens up then possibility that the two may diverge making it harder to keep either in good shape. I don't see that the extra tags are really needed - if they are we should free up some of the 1419 tags, several of which I feel don't add much to the game.
Instead of giving the provinces of Ufa, Samara and Saratov to Kazan or Astrakhan why not leave it with the Golden Horde? IIRC they still semi-existed until the Muscovites came to the area.

I think it might be related to a problem in the Spanish scenario file. The Spanish "Armada Real" fleet has type=9423 & id=548, but the problem is that the Strassburg "Strassburg Armee" has the exact same type & id number. I imagine that this would cause quite a problem the first time the player or AI tried to do anything with these units. I haven't tested anything, but this might be the source of this problem.

- Spain gets into a almost never ending war with the Mayans after conquering the Aztecs. It usually lasts for about 10 years.
- Russia attacks Lithuania very early, instead of focusing on the Khanates. They seize most of Lithuania within 15 years of the start, when in reality they conquered the rest of Lithuaniain the 1600s. Perhaps a special AI file can be included that only has the Khanates on the to kill list, and then once they are dead, Russia could get a file that encourages expansion West.
- The Moghuls seem too timid to attack Delhi. As suggested before, perhaps the starting relations with Delhi should be lowered.
- The Ottomans rarely, if ever declare war on Hungary. Perhaps a war event?
- Denmark colonizes Greenland by the 1530s.
- Persia needs something in order to hold its own against the Ottomans. They do lose Iraq early, which is historical, but the Ottomans gain many cities in inner Persia. Perhaps some of Persia's no fort cities should gain minimal ones.
