Regiment size decreasing when revoking title for vassal

Noticed something strange, might be tech related and WAD though.

I decided to revoke some titles for vassals (which I had conquered by usurping their King.. 100% loyalty ) who had juicy provinces. In addition to being rich, they also had big regiments.

After I had revoked the title (under demesne penalty I think) the regiments were much smaller. I don't remember if they were at full size and smaller (maximum decreased) or if the pool just got smaller, or a combination of both. Should be easy to check though..

WAD? If so, what influences this? Temporal effect or permanent? It could of course simply be related to the fact that a province income seems to change when revoking a title (an AI bonus perhaps?).

NOTE :
=====
In this game I also experienced the much reported (though never experienced by me previously) slowdown effect (around 1100 A.D.) that might perhaps be related.

As you betas have much to do I feel oblieged to inform you that I was running a slightly modified game, so you can tag this as a low priority issue if you want to.. though I suspect the mods had nothing to do with this.

Mods :

- Changed RP demesne from 0.8 to 1.2 (so that it works) in provinceimprovements.txt
- Added about 200 names to character_names.csv file.
- Removed the 'not age 20' thing for all the character_development_events.txt
- Using ace2's (I think) trait_names file..

So, I give you permission to ignore me or ice this report :)

AFAIK there is a report here explaining that there is a tie between your regiment size and your real province income, and not to the base province income.

Which means that if you play with the tax slider, the size of the regiment will change.

Which means that if your vassal was having different slider than you, you end up with different regiment size.

Yes, that sounds about right.. I had a very high stewardship bonus (130%) that's why I couldn't understand the drop in income.

But as Cat Lord said, if my vassal had very different taxes (base income change) he could have more profits even with lower modifications.

Danke..

Wait, so lowering taxes shrink regiments? or the other way around? and which taxes? Or does lowering different taxes shrink regiments of different classes?
The regiment size depends in the income. Rich province (high income) = more troops.
