Vassals not concerned by BB (no loyalty penalty)

I noticed in my new game today that for some reasons my vassals didn't seem to care about my BB rating. I first discovered this when I was at 'Dishonorable Scum' and yet my vassals showed no sign of a negative modifier based on my BB rating (as I've seen and dreaded in several other games).

At first I credited this to only having family vassals (sons even), so I thought I'd learned something new. Later, I took the crown of Denmark and Norway (roughing me up to 'Hated through out the whole world..') and prepared to battle my vassals because of my BB value. However, it did not happen. They were upset with me (new liege and all) but no BB penalty modifier on their loyalty.. instead going up by 4-5% each month.

NOTE :
=====
In this game I also experienced the much reported (though never experienced by me previously) slowdown effect (around 1100 A.D.) that might perhaps be related.

As you betas have much to do I feel oblieged to inform you that I was running a slightly modified game, so you can tag this as a low priority issue if you want to.. though I suspect the mods had nothing to do with this.

Mods :

- Changed RP demesne from 0.8 to 1.2 (so that it works) in provinceimprovements.txt
- Added about 200 names to character_names.csv file.
- Removed the 'not age 20' thing for all the character_development_events.txt
- Using ace2's (I think) trait_names file..

So, I give you permission to ignore me or ice this report :)

I'll check (think I'll abandon the game anyway since it feels 'tainted') tomorrow.. I'm actually going to bed before 4 am today for the first time since getting CK :)

Thing is I noticed 5 new possible bugs in this game, so it could have been just a crappy game.. probably was..

Is this behavior still there after reloading a savegame.
(In my game reloading solved this issue)

Same here. Let me tell you I discovered I was in a real hard situation after the reload. :D

Besides, I noticed the phenomenon appeared just after I was recognised as King ( I was only duke before ). Maybe it is related.

I play on 1.01 standard.

It happened just after becoming King of Ireland. Along with this, prestige costs for grabing titles were also reduced a lot (I mentioned that in another thread). Reloading solved all that issues.

That's true, I wondered why previous some 600 prestige claims were down to 90. Although I remember King of Norway cost 1350 even though I'd taken King of Denmark and already experienced the no BB penalty thing.. So it could be related but not strictly dependent..

Anyway, tried to load the savegame I made to no avail. CTD on Initializing Script.. did a quick look in the file but I couldn't come up with anything..

I'll go through my other saves to see if I can get BB penalty to work again..

Is that still happening in 1.02 ?

Liege reputation gone on vassals, on taking higher status

This is a bit of a laugh; well nice cheat actually :p

Anyway I’m Duke in an ai Kingdom. As far as I can see ai’s are immune to -% from reputation on the vassals. At least one can’t see it, even though they do have bb points.

So I’m this duke in a kingdom. I grab the king’s title and declare war on him.
At the peace process I want the Kingdom and take it. Now the good stuff. All vassals I already had and all vassals I create in the future, no more counts my reputation in the loyalty equation, regardless how high or low it might be. It does not say null or something, but the line is simply not there anymore – just like with the ai.
This makes it nice and easy to keep them all in check :)

The bad thing tho (for a cheat). If you save and load again, we are right back to how it should be. The line come back in place.

So I’m thinking that in this transformation from duke to Kingdom, somehow an ai build-in cheat get into it and it is not realized by the game, that the ruler is now a human, until the game is loaded again. I played happily years before I realized that there was something fishy here :)

Yeah - I got myself elected as the Byzantine Emperor after being the Prince of Gallich, changed the sucession law, reconquored almost all (bar Nikomedia)my vassals who'de broken away, achieve a demense of 42 (max was 27) and the worse possible reputation... yet all my vassals who had remained loyal didn't seem to notice anything... at least it wasn't mentioned in their loyalty tooltip.
