I understand that it's about Napoleon's time, but isn't 10 years a bit short for a (grand?) strategy game?

i happen to agree. Too bad they don't add it as an expansion to another one of their titles (EU4) . I love my 400 years in CK2...even in that game i want to dispose of the limit

Not any longer than HOI3. Plus its not completely military, there is diplomacy, coalitions, etc.
can someon clear something up for me, are March of the Eagles and EU4 (both of which have been announced as far as i know) gonna be completely seperate games or is March of the Eagles gonna be a period of time within EU4 (like a dlc)?
Separate games. No connection whatsoever (besides technical stuff like same engine, same developer, same marketing department, etc.).
That's what the screenshots would suggest (there's a day-night indicator below date), but no confirmation has been given.
I really hope they make it so it is not too quick to complete. It would be sad, as i have waited for this game. Gongratulations paradox!
