The Holy Alliance, established the 9th of September 1815 and the second treaty of Paris, the 20th of November 1815, which definitively ends the French Revolution and Empire Wars in Europe. What is markedly different in the world between June 1815 and January 1816?
There aren't much differences between January 1816 and previous months, because January 1816 appears to me to just be a randomly chosen month, without anything significant enough happening to be a turning point, a new beginning.
However, in 1816, one significant start date might be the 6th of May, 1816, which might had appeared, back then, as a steps toward the end of the French Revolution and Empire Wars in the World, with the success of the Spanish Reconquista, and the return to an Ancient Order. In Europe, like in the European New World, popular movements inspired by the French Revolutions seems to had been crushed by the reactionary forces who thought they might simply create a new order ignoring national aspirations... Revolts in Europe and in the Americas will soon remind them that they were wrong.
