i am following this from ealier,
i can help with leaders n pics when i get my hands on some of my old books, ill send em on. Also air leader for the Rebellion??????? what air power was involved in the rebillion??do you know somethjing i dont, even in the civil war was there any air involved????? which is my next point, is that in too(civil war) if so what about it is dealt with?? anything to do with "the conscription crisis" in Ireland in "18 events wise.

also while i think of it, could be an idea to have 2 sets of events one for what happened n another for if the "real" rebellion took place ie the country wide one with the volunteers joining in all over instead of the few die hards in dublin

The Irish Independence chain of events is described in this thread (look about half-way down the page, from the beginning of September). We've covered the 1914 home Rule crisis, the 1916 Easter Rising, conscription, the postwar Sinn Féin election victory, the Anglo-Irish War and the creation of the Free State. We don't (as yet) have anything on the Irish Civil War, and just some ideas regarding possible Ulster independence. The Easter Uprising is just a dissent-increasing event which gives Britain a choice of how severe to be in reprisal.

I don't recall air power being significant in any of the fighting in Ireland, but as an independent state IRE ought to have a few air leaders, just in case they do build an air force :)

I suggest any further discussion is carried out in the Event thread (or the Ministers and Leaders threads, etc, if appropriate) to keep the forum uncluttered.

I certainly agree to keeping the thread uncluttered - perhaps we need to make this clearer somehow.

We need pictures for:
John Dillon
Maurice Moore
Count Plunkett
Eoin MacNeill
Liam Lynch
Frank Aiken
