For anyone who is interested, the 'DB' error is caused by the mod folder name starting with a number.
If you change the folder name to 'orwell' (or just add a letter in front of '1984') the error goes away.
Scenario looks intriguing.

It is a quite exciting scenario. Wish it would have gained more interest and was still being developed, I still have occasional cravings to play it again.

Adonnus, I'm a little shocked to hear this mod is "dead".

We all get fed up modding from time to time. The trick is to leave it for about 2 weeks, go do something totally different. After about 2 weeks, you'll get your "buzz" back and although you may find it hard to start again, once you do, you'll find the "addiction" takes over again, and you're back modding.

I would do the modding just for my own entertainment, even if I never posted it.

Don't stop, just take a break mate!

I'm going to play around with this some - at the very least I'll set the start/end dates of the ministers &
leaders so they'll be available for the time period of the game. Also planning on making a few tweaks to
make it conform better to the book (Oceania capital will be Washington, intros changed). I saw the
comment about Eastasia needing to be beefed up a bit - given that my memory of the book is that
the armies were'nt really that large (after all, they were fighting proxy wars outside the core regions
of the three powers), I was thinking about starting all sides off with no army.
