Does 2.2 possibly fix all the run problems, crashes etc?
Interesting below is copied from the paradox site. Go to the downloads, you can't find it there. My Rome Gold does not have working registrer or update buttons. Only shows defailt for selecting game to play.

NEW YORK – October 6, 2009 – Leading PC publisher Paradox Interactive has today announced the release of patch 2.2 for its Grand Strategy title, EU: Rome Gold.
The patch includes:
· A rebalanced colonial system in which the player now has to deal with a barbarian threat
· Improved political and naval warfare AI
· A revised political system within Republics to ensure gameplay is more rewarding
· Various other minor improvements and bug fixes
To access the patch, click on “check for updates” in the game launcher.
