2 Errors different errors cause CTD

1. Sometimes, right at the programs onset I get this message and CTD:

EU2 caused an invalid page fault in

2.Other times, while in game, I get this one and CTD:

For #2 I've tried reinstalling DirectX 8.1, and running DirectXDiagnostic. Neither course of action yeilded any result. The weird thing is the game used to run just fine a few days ago. I recently had to revert to Win98 from XP. Any ideas?

DDHELP errors seems quite common nowadays. Apparently, DX 8.1 will create problems on non XP machines; however, I have DX 8.1 and it does work on my non XP computer.

I'm going to direct you to an utility to remove DirectX. Once removed, reapply DX 8.0a or DX 8.1.

Thnx Viper! I'll use the DirectX Buster and try installing DX8a. If that doesn't work I'll get back to you with my system specs.
