2 problems with 1.08

First, any saved game I try to load shows the default map (showing armies, navies, etc..) as the Political map. Clicking on the Political map also shows the Political map. Kinda makes it hard to play.

Second, and I'm not sure if this is bug or feature but when I begin a GC as England with Hard diffculty and Agressive AI, I start with 112 ducats instead of 375.

Hey,

the first of your issue is in the read me file as well as was posted by Patric: Saved games on 1.07c will not work with 1.08.

As for your second comment, I don't know. Sorry.

Yes, these were v1.08 games. I, too, can read. :|

But, I found the solution to the save problem. I deleted all my v1.07 saved games from the appropriate directory and started from scratch. All better.

Negative.

I haven't heard squat from anyone around here. Also, my initial problem has shown up again. It might have something to do with the number of saved games. I don't really know. What I do know is that it has trashed about 8 hours of GC play. Bugger!

silly question here, did you try clicking on the 'normal' map icon?

It's down on your left. There are three icons there, click on the first one from the left (tree-like)
