defeated muslims

this seems to me a bug,

I've defeated the emir of cordoba and he offers a big amount of money,

I click his avatar to check out where he could have some more land, it seems the province being centered on is not muslim - looks weird, time to check that out,

I look at the emirs picture and his COA, it seems his COA is now christian?

So i click the COA and it seems to be the province that's centered already (after my clicking see above),

then after the clicking, the COA stays the same, but the picture and county description change. It seems to be the county of Szekesfeherar (or something like that),

so in short words = the emir is out of the game, but keeps proposing money (big money) and when you check his COA out - you'll end up in the county of Szekesferar (my god, what a name  )

Could he have conquered that county before and flees there? Since CoA shapes are culturally bound dependent on province, not the ruler, he could easily have the Christian CoA

nope, there's a bug

because you see a catholic county but with the emirs face on the left side, and when you either click the COA in the county or the COA above the emir, he's vanashid and the count of that land is displayed,

something like a dead end street, :)

If he has no land and no vassals left perhaps he moved to county X to stay with his relatives who were hiding out there?

/F

yes and offering 4800 gold pieces for nothing :D

Yeah I noticed the Emir of Cordoba doing pretty much the same thing. I was sure I had conquered all his land yet he still kept offering me somthing liek 3800 gold. Eventually i got sick of the war and accepted. I didnt loose any of the territory that I had just taken so I was happy. I didnt notice the CoA thing. But Im new to the game and not noticing everything quite yet I guess.

wOOt 200th post!

I don't know how old this thread is, but I might offer my view of this happening:

I conquered the Kingdom of Fatimids, the king had no provinces left, he kept offering me money. Well I refused and after a short while, he revoked the title of one of his vassals and ta-dah: Kingdom of Fatimids exists again, in Basra. Then later on I did this to him again, took all his provinces and then made peace before he revoked some other title and *poof*, the Kingdom of Fatimids vanished.

On other occasion, I have war with Yatvigs. The chief has two vassals and as I eat his land and the land of both of his vassals, then he goes *poof*, without me making peace with him.

So should this be a bug if the moslem king still has option to come back into play?

I don't see a bug. If he has vassals he has the opportunity to revoke a title to get some land again.

Neither do I and thus I posted, because this is listed as a bug. I mean that the earlier posters could have been experiencing the same, because I've never seen muslim / pagan ruler continue offering peace if all his land and all his vassals are taken. Of course this could have been fixed already in 1.02 and then I'm sorry from the useless scam.
