A few quirks...

I'm playing as Bohemia, I got all 9 provinces for the Kingdom of Bohemia, I have billions of Prestige simply from intermarrying courtiers in my own dynasty, My current king gets prestige so high it turns into a negative number at times... also why intermarrying my courtiers my game goes so slow, I can't move my mouse around the screen at a normal speed, it slows way down

Also I lose like 28,000,000 piety each month due to my prestige being so high from intermarrying... its weird that I haven't seen any posts on it, although I haven't been on the boards alot lately, if you want a copy of my last save game, ask, I'll send it out.

Reminds me of my own game as Ireland. I reunited the island, established some colonies in the Baltic area, liberated part of Spain. I was the only one to attack the heathens - I even liberated the Alsace/Lorraine/Pfalz area occupied by some Baltic people. Lots of cultural/religious conversions gave me over 600 piety, even though I was still losing 5-6 a month. My prestige was pretty high

Then, as a "reward" for my good work for Christiandom, I got the disastrous "Crusader" trait. I was forced to turn my entire Kingdom into some kind of war machine, because I lost 18 piety a month. Conquering these large tracts of land (Wallachia is culturally Irish, now!) cost me a fortune, broke my finances, bloated my domain to unmanageable size (I usually keep new conquered counties for while to develop them, as the AI does poorly with certain buildings - and also to have the chance get the conversion bonus) and severly hit my manpower.

I finally ended up, ten years later with over 2000 piety - not bad, when you lose over 200 per year - but I was neither beatified or canonized, even though lots of my courtiers who didn't do as much for the Faith were in the past. Now, I need at least 10 years to reorganize my kingdom, replenish my regiments, gather some reserve money... I hope I don't get the "crusader" trait again for a while!

Well, I hear that the whole thing will be rewritten in 1.03 and that the AI will actually make a few crusades of his own. Very good thing, in my opinion. I can't wait for this patch. I think, from what I'm reading, that the game will really be working as expected starting with version 1.03. My guess is that it will be ready for the north american release of the game, but even though I'M anxious to see it, I don't want it to come out TOO early, because I'm afraid that Johann will then turn himself to other projects, such as HOI2, and that the wait for patch 1.04 could be several months long.

Anyway, thanks for everybody's good job - Johann, the beta-testers, the moderators, the modders. The game just wouldn't be the same without you.

I've redone the cannonization events to make it more based on peity. Check out LUCKS mod out.

I do have LUCKS 1.2 installed. Great mod, BTW.
