Has anyone seen this conversion problem happening ?

I'll check the event...

Was going to test this, but could not get a province spread event to trigger using "provevent" in console without a CTD. :(

I will look at it if some kind person knows the proper console trigger for the p_x_p events.

I don't know if it's possible from the console. I think not.

Which event do you think is causing the problem ?

I was mostly going to trigger event 1090 (and similar) in as many different circumstances as possible, and check the results per Grosshaus' quote:

Vas the ruler of the province vassal, or vassal of a vassal, of a Frankish guy? When provinces convert they convert to realm culture.

I was curious how "set_to_realm_culture" was working under different circumstances. As a Count vassalized to a Duke. As a Duke vassalized to a King, as a Count vassalized to a King and all of these as independents.

In all circumstances you would think culture would be set to the King's (or whoever demense ruler is.) These event fires very rarely and must be hard to check if they cannot be triggered from console.

Anyway, to check this I'll have to make an event that is not province spread to check "set_to_realm_culture"

I just had Belgorod's religion convert to Orthodox, but the culture stayed Pecheneg. They are under my direct control as Empire of Byzantium.

That's a different event, though -- there's one which changes both religion and culture, and another that changes only religion.

Could that be what happened here? I wouldn't imagine there are any pagan provinces with Frankish culture at the beginning of the game, though...

I just figured they were the same because the title for both of mine was 'Mass Scale Conversions'. I'll see what happens tonight.
