Like title says. A game breaking bug with no work around and yet still no hotfix. Come on this is something that cant wait a week or 2. sigh guess ill get the mod to shrink planets then.

Why work to fix?

Don't stress yourself out. We all know what to expect from KerbieKids.

Simply uninstall game. That's what I did. Uninstall and revisit it later. I'll revisit this heap of you-know-what after a few months...in July 2013.

Try the saved-game trick. You know when you're about to wipe-out a system - save the game before you roll-over the turn, load-in as your victim, delete the station, save again (Don't end the turn), load-in as normal and THEN end-turn.

Its a pain, but its a work-around. Gotta remember that Fri-Sat-Sun don't really count - everyone has to have a weekend. But knowing programers, its always on their mind.

Yeah..this should be matter of an hotfix. Its a game breaker and needs to be fixed asap. I had started to play sots2 as i heard its all clear and got a free expansion. after a dew days its already broken again. Of course its not the most important thing in the world...but its annoying.

This game .. It is actually good if it was not for the bugs and long turn times. But luring me back in with end of flesh and then massively blue balling me again! I feel like such a chump.

This game is what MoO3 was supposed to be. I've been waiting years for a game like this. It will be awesome ... once its finished. I understand how this kind of thing works though. I play many Paradox games and they often go through this stage.

Gotta be a bit patient. Play for a while, learn as much as you can, try out the different strats, ... then get bored and put it away. But fear-not! There will ALWAYS be another patch OR another expansion OR another iteration.

It may just be that SotS3 will seriously be kick-butt-good.

The switching sides trick and saving never hitting end turn works. yes its an unnecessary annoyance and id like to see a real fix soon but it works.

Also dont complain about the state of the game where you around last November... holy crap this is a game of the year version compared to that. It has some flaws but i find it enjoyable to play could be better with some minor bug fixing though.

Welp the patched was deployed, i assured the version numbers matched up on the launcher in the game to that recent patch ... no dice i still got stations in planets and this is on a new game started after that patch i did tonight :/

Now that the stations in planets are fixed another bug cropped up. Every time I now get into a pirate fight the game just hangs and I have to end task it in task manager. I think I will have to put this game down and try again in a year or so. :(

This is actually not funny anymore. First they release a hotfix, hoping, it "draws to a close the super intense first week support and now back on working on larger things". Then they have to release a hotfix for the hotfix, because it didn't work (and the station bug itself was a bug caused by the hotfix to the hotfix 2.0.24494.1).

Now the they need to fix the pirate bug, which will a hotfix for a hotfix for a hotfix...

I take back what I said. It actually is funny, in a sad sorta way.

I only play on the weekends so hopefully it will be all patched up by then. Its funny though how people rail on them for not getting a hotfix out fast enough, and then follow it up with the hotfix breaks something else, when the actual problem is the testing of the patches. Because they didn't test it enough is why the second break happened. Because they didn't test it enough is also why the first break happened. The basic rule is, when you rush stuff out and don't test it enough, all that happens is more bugs get out. Stop rushing. If you don't have time to do it right, how can you have time to do it a second time?

I read the patch notes and made sure the numbers were the same on the patch notes and launcher and on the title screen of the game , i started a new game within an hr i had run into an enemy system with a station in a planet

So as far as im concerned they didn't fix anything.

Yeah well if only they had learned from the previous release experience they might not have to fly through the constant flak. I personally would appreciate it much more if they would be honest instead of raising the expectation for the 2nd time now that everything is fine and dandy which it clearly is not. This game still is not finished.

That's odd. The stations were for most people fixed even with old saves. I had an old save, and the next turn all stations inside planets were placed outside.

Now the version is supposed to be 2.0.24494.4, not 2.0.24494.3
