Make money and/or prestige as much as you want

I live in Finland and I got my game today. Updated to 1.01 and fired up and found this bug.

Playing as a duke of Toulouse I create a new title for myself, the duke of Languedoc. I have a 1 year old son and I wanted to give the title to him which I did. I get a message asking if I want to take a duty of "Knighting the eldest son" which gives me 262 gold. I take the duty and the gold. I then check my son and see that the title was not given to him. In fact I can create the title again and now comes the "fun" part. I give it to him again. 262 gold to my pocket and the cycle goes on and on.

btw Great game. Thank you Paradox.

Disappearing Duchy?

King of Naples. gave away a Duchy title to a son who had no other holdings (this isn't supposed to possible), the Duke title disappeared and isn't attached to my son. Eventyually I gave him a count title or two and it's till not on him. I can't create the title either (though I own the provinces). Is it lost now or what?

You have to give a count title before a duchy one. Otherwise it will not stick and you'll have to reclaim it.

Claim to dukal title disappears when granting it away

I am playing as Norway in the 1066 campaign. After conquering some pagans, I decided to grant some land to my son, since the inheritance laws are set to elective.
So, I do as following:
1.) Claim the title of Duke of Mecklembourg(I think it was Mecklembourg).
2.) Grant my son the title of Duke of Mecklembourg.

Now, what happens is that the title disappears and my son have still no title. So I have to claim the title once again. Before I found this out, I tried to grant my son several count titles, but he keeps handing them out. BTW, this is reproducable; I tried several times before I gave it up. I guess this is a bug?

Now, isn't that typical... I've reproduced this a dozen times, and then I do it once more after I've posted this thread, and it works...
