Eh, I can't see taking Elven village at 4 points. Especially when Koati is only 2, and has a lot more unit flexibility. (warrior, Archers, Warlocks, Dragonturtles)

I'd say drop the follower to 1, and the village to 2.

Elven Village level 10 unlock is very strong (The elven sharpshooter). I could totally see doing that. You could also, in theory, take BOTH perks, so that you can get serpent strength upgrade for your sharpshooters. Even better, this lets you get fine armor and drill for free on your elves, improving their strength, and potentially other things like masterwork armor depending on your other starting squares. I'd say it's a lot stronger than it sounds.

As for the single archer for 4 points... I'm not sure about that. It's clearly worth more than 1 point, since the comparison there is the 100 gold perk, of which an elf costs more (And the gold perk is pretty bad anyway!). It's clearly no where as strong as one of the Lords though, meaning that 4 seems a bit high. Maybe 2 or 3 points is where they should be. Dunno.

I do not see the attraction to the elven stuff at all. The archer unit is extremely expensive maint wise over time and dies as fast as regular archers. Does clean the land spell do any besides remove blight? Does it undo terrain mod?

There are a few things I like about the Elves. Their city build chain jumps to Tax Offices without a step to build some sort of rogues guild. Also, their caster unit is very strong. The upgraded version of the spear unit is also pretty good. Depending on the map you are playing, they also share the undead trait of building flying ships rather than having to use the expensive to maintain levitation spell on regular ships.

Cleanse the Land says it removes contamination, and removes any alterations. Have not tried it yet.

Also, do the Dremer appear if your not playing Armagedden mode? I know you cannot select their victory condition unless you play it.

Im quite sure they dont.
They are pretty overpowered - and crush AI easily. Their warlocks can one shot pretty anything.
