salic gavelkind?

i started the bosnia scenario in 1187. the country for some reason has salic gavelkind inheritance law. instead of being inherited by my legitimate son and only heir the game ends and says 'you surrendered' i think this has something to do with the inheritance distribution routine, since the kingdom temporarily dissapers before distribution.

i don't know if it's duplicate, but i havent found anything on the list

I reproduced this. Started as Bosnia, killed myself using console. Get message saying son inherits. The shield for court on the map went empty then I get the message saying "You Surrendered."

Tried same scenario again. Granted title to son to make him a count. Whacked myself using console. Inheritence went ok, no Surrender messages.

It's weird you have to give a title to your son. As this would make sense for elective but not for salic gavelkind...

it has to do with the routine that distributes titles. the kingdom dissapears in the process and in that moment the game ends if a courtier inherits. if a count/duke/king inherit, their realm is not affected and you can inherit and continue to play
