Vassalizing Religious Orders = No prestige/month

Simple enough, easy steps for recreation:

Play as Poland until Teutonic Order pops up. Diplovassalize them. Check prestige gain/month. No increase, despite having what amounts to a king (or at worst, a duke) under you.

The Grandmaster will show up on your character screen as a vassal, but once again, you don't get any prestige increase for it. Haven't bothered revoking Grandmaster title and seeing if it gives a bonus to you if you possess it yourself, as I hear this causes all sorts of maddening problems. I also haven't bothered actually granting him additional count/duchal titles, since there's no real point.

I have no idea how to rectify this, but I would assume that having what is practically an army that controls land under you would grant at least some manner of prestige a month, if not piety also.

Screenshots/saves on request.

Tested on AMD 2500+/ATI Radeon 9600 (4.3 Cats)/SB Audigy Gamer/Windows XP Professional SP1 and P4 1.4/ATI Radeon 8500 128m(not LE model, 3.7 Cats)/SB Live! Value/Windows XP Professional SP 1.

You are a king, so you can only get prestige from dukes and equals who are your vassals. Is the Grandmaster status a duke's or king's one?

I'm tempted to report this as a bug, but only about the whole possibility of vassalising orders since they are such special cases.

Judging from the portrait, they are kings - they have the little crowns underneath them.

But I seem to recall Paradox saying before the release that you couldn't play as these orders, but you could vassalize them. So it seems as though you should be able to, or, if not, at least have some benfit from granting your land to them.
