Hey there! I was redirected to you via my "Water Woes" Steam Post.

Word on the street is you are working on a "larger map" mod, and I certainly look foward to it!

My biggest limit for making cities I want with rivers that run entirely through the map while using World Map terrain is the limitation of no water simulation in the World Map area.

Look foward to seeing your work on that!

Is it possible to add a feature that relocks individual tiles if they have not been purchased?
Sorry, not sure what you mean by that - how can you re-lock a tile if it hasn't been unlocked by purchasing first?

Sorry it looks like I worded that wrong. What I am asking is, I have all tiles unlocked, the patch added tax to the unlocked tiles. Rather than use the percentage adjustment that you added (thanks so much for that :)) I would like to re-lock a bunch of tiles that have nothing on them so they don't contribute to the tax instead (leave the percent as is).

There is the existing feature to re-lock ALL tiles when you load your save (it becomes visible when you choose any option other than 'Unlock all tiles', because, well, obviously those two conflict with each other), and you can then re-purchase the ones you need (the first nine are free, as always). Does that work for you in the meantime?

Hi.
thanks for taking the time to make this mod.
Unfortunately, it left me in a pickle:
I managed to lock all tiles. Nice.
But when I tried to buy back the ones I really needed from the "Buy Tiles" dialog, the mouse registered nicely (I could mark a rectangle on the map) - but it didn't select the tiles - so I couldn't buy them back.
I have tried saving and reloading the city - no good.
I tried the operation both while the game was paused and not - no change.
The only other mod I had loaded was the "prop line tool" (whatever it's called in CS2)
Do you by chance have any idea?

I'm only aware of that happening when you've previously used mods like Gooee that break the UI. Make sure you unsubscribe to Gooee (and any mods that use it) then make sure you clean out the stuff it leaves behind - make sure that your 'Mods' and 'ModsData' folders are completely empty (in %LocalAppData%Low\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\).

ETA: Make sure you unsubscribe from those mods. Disabling them in a playset is not sufficient. You'll also need to restart your game after unsubscribing, and then exit it again to delete the Mods and ModsData folders.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I didn't have Gooee (Just your linetool & it's dependency).
But I fixed it by loading an earlier Autosave, and making sure I didn't leave your mod settings with the option "Unlock all" any time. I.e. When I first went into 529 Tiles in in-game settings, I made sure I had the "Add extra start tiles" and "re-lock all tiles" selected before I got back into the game . I could then properly select and buy the tiles I could afford.

So with my limited access to test tools, it SEEMS to me that "unlcok all" doesn't give me a way back to "lock all". But that's my 25 cents.

Unlock all is obviously not compatible with lock all, which is why that option is hidden unless you've selected something other than unlock all. Testing confirms no issues unlocking all and relocking tiles.

This mod left me in a pickle too, I have unlocked all tiles, however now i lose almost 20,000,000 a month and Im in debt (ingame)
Well, yes, you're now paying full tile upkeep on all those tiles - of course it's expensive! See the change notes for the game's latest 1.1.5 update ("Economy 2.0 patch"). Use the slider in the mod's settings panel to change that amount (including reducing it all the way to zero).
