crusader kings 2 problem.png

Basically everytime I play I get this error message popping up, I have managed to play the game for the past few days but all of a sudden this has started happening.

Does this maybe have to do with the microsift visual c++ problem ?
If so as i read in another thread, delete the microsoft visual c++ versions in windows and install the 2008 version (64) of it from Microsoft.com.
Or try playing through clicking ck2game.exe as i guess you use Steam.
Maybe worth a try.

doubtful. CKII is a 32bit application so installing 64bit redistributables should have no effect. however, it can't hurt to update all redistributables on the system. in general there shouldn't be a problem with 64bit with any software.

Just thought it might have something to do with the Steam launcher, but i have no clue really.
;) Sorry.

Edit: maybe try reinstalling through the Steam launcher would help. It helped others.
