stats values

I was surprised recently to see that one of my daughters was born with a stewardship rating of 11 (I thought the max was 10 before traits).

Looking into the save files, I noticed that a lot of people had stats values that were not integers (like 7.234, or in her case 10.723). I am wondering whether this is "normal", and whether this might not later cause worse bugs...

I'm not actually quite sure if this is a bug or not. The max values stated in the manual might have been changed later and the way they work might require decimals. Well, we'll see.
 
i have a feeling that the overall stats of people increase with each generation, since children stats are affected by parent stats(with a random modifier), and parent stats get increased by education
 
as far as i kept track, they do in gameplay. the final parent stats(education included) determine children stats
 
yes, the stats may change, I once got a son with 3 9's and after some years (before finishing his studies) he had risen to 11,
 
no, this is about getting a son with a stat of eleven prior to education
 
It's a rounding problem.

Stats are float.

10.6 in an attribute will be shown as 11.
